Counselling & Consulting
Counselling Services
At Eagle Mountain Counselling, we believe meaningful change begins with feeling heard, understood, and supported. We provide compassionate, individualized counselling for teens and adults who are navigating life’s challenges, working through difficult experiences, or seeking greater clarity, confidence, and fulfillment.
With over 15 years of counselling experience, our services support a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression and mood concerns, stress, trauma and PTSD, grief and loss, relationship challenges, life transitions, and other mental health concerns.
Our approach is tailored to each individual rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. We draw from a variety of evidence-informed therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, and Somatic Experiencing. Together, we identify the approaches that best fit your needs, goals, and personal circumstances.
ICBC Counselling
Eagle Mountain Counselling provides supportive counselling for individuals experiencing the emotional and psychological effects of a motor vehicle accident. ICBC’s Enhanced Care benefits provide pre-approved coverage for up to 12 counselling sessions during the first 12 weeks following a crash, with no referral required. Sessions can address trauma, anxiety, depression, fear of driving, grief, changes in mood, and other challenges related to recovery. Additional counselling may be covered when clinically recommended and approved by ICBC. Direct billing may be available.
Hear the Child Reports
Eagle Mountain Counselling provides Hear the Child Reports to help ensure that a child’s views, wishes, and experiences are heard and considered when parents are making decisions about their family. The process gives children an opportunity to share their perspective with a trained, neutral professional in a safe and supportive setting. Their views are then communicated to parents and the court through a written report, without placing the child in the position of choosing between parents or making the final decision.
Eagle Mountain Counselling offers in-person counselling in Kelowna as well as virtual counselling throughout British Columbia.
Whether you are struggling with anxiety or depression, processing past experiences, coping with a significant loss or transition, recovering from the effects of a motor vehicle accident, or simply feeling stuck and wanting something to change, counselling can provide a supportive space to better understand yourself, develop effective tools, and move forward with greater intention.
